This crash course is perfect for anyone needing a quick IELTS refresher course, whether you’re an absolute beginner or not.

This course is only 4 hours face-to-face via Zoom. We’ll have 2 x 2 hour lessons.
We can focus on the parts of IELTS that you are concerned about, whether that’s getting to know the exam or polishing up on your skills.
Intensive, customised and can be a lifesaver to those about to do the exam.

Writing Evaluations

Receive 5 sets of Task 1 and Task 2 essays (total 10 essays) corrected and evaluated with feedback on how you can improve.

All essay topics are provided (unless you have specific questions you’d like to supply)

Speaking Mock Tests

This includes 5 simulated IELTS speaking mock tests, face-to-face via Zoom.

Each session lasts 20 minutes (15 minutes for the test and 5 minutes for feedback at the end).
Get a real idea of what the speaking test is like and the time it takes.
Receive an estimated score and critique on what needs improving at the end.

Meet your online IELTS coach

Hi I’m Max! I am British/South African and have been living and teaching IELTS in Taiwan for 10+ years.
I have excellent knowledge and insight of the IELTS exam and how to prepare for it. I have been preparing Taiwanese students for the exam both one-on-one and in big classrooms.
I believe that the key to good IELTS preparation is by having a good plan and applying learnt methods for each section of the exam, which I intend to show you.
Over the years I have conducted hundreds of speaking mock tests with students from all over Taiwan and helped them to realise their weaknesses and how they can improve.
I’m very friendly and easy to speak to and I will create a comfortable atmosphere for our lessons, but I’m also very serious about getting a steady improvement from my students. I love to see results!
